Henry served as a First Lieutenant, India-China Wing, Air Transport Command, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in New Haven County, Connecticut prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on February 6, 1941, prior to the war, in Hartford, Connecticut. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a filer, grinder, buffer, and polisher of metals and also as Single, without dependents.

Henry was declared "Missing In Action" in the "Line Of Duty" after World War II had ended.

He was awarded the Air Medal.
